| Prem (Salman Khan obviously), the leader of a music band, and Nisha (Raveena Tandon) are in love and are to get married, when Prem has to return from the mandap still a bachelor, because Nisha is now to wed a rich NRI who can afford to pay for her brother's illness. Prem is depressed in life, till he falls in love once again. This time with Priya (Rani Mukherjee) who happens to be Mona's (Pooja Batra) cousin. Priya is on the look out for a job, that she hardly seems to be looking out for, and is for the time being put up at her cousin's place. Prem is unable to convey to Priya his feelings for her, which he thinks she has already understood by looking aankhon mein. Priya, the very next day goes about the neighbourhood distributing her engagement cards to a certain Rahul (Inder Kumar), a rich NRI. Slowly but surely Priya decides that it's Prem she is in love with and is marrying Rahul just for the sake of it. She is off to tell Prem her feeling when she sees Prem and Nisha together again. Nisha is now out of her Rahul's life as he is off to marry another person and returns to Prem. But now Prem confesses to her his love for Priya and they decide to remain friends. The miscommunication carries on till the end and ultimately, Prem and Priya are together, Rahul just out of the blue with utmost convenience accepts Nisha back into his life and Mona and Tiger (Jackie Shroff), Prem's best friend are a couple. |
