Real Beauty Rani Mukharjee~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rani Mukherjee
"When I did Ghulam (with Aamir) and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (with Shah Rukh), I was treated like a child. Both of them were very protective towards me. I will always be thankful to them. They played a very important role in shaping my career... Black will always be special to me. I can't expect every film to have a character like Michelle. For me, it's important to have a different character in every film. And I give 100 percent to all my characters, regardless of whether they are light or serious", -QUICK FACTS:

Rani Mukherjee
Rani Mukherjee made her debut in Bollywood with a best-forgotten film called Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat. With no family backing to launch her, this spirited young girl dared to dream, dared to try and get a foothold into Bollywood. She does however happen to be Kajol's cousin. Vikram Bhatts's Ghulam with Aamir Khan brought her the recognition she craved for. Khandala, a small hill station few kilometer's drive away from Mumbai, suddenly became the hotspot of the entire country. Reason - Aamir Khan coaxing Rani Mukherjee to accompany him there. The song Aati Kya Khandala suddenly caught the nation's fancy and Rani received rave reviews.
This was followed by Mehndi which did not fare very well at the box office. However, Rani again found herself in the thick of things with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. This Karan Johar directed movie starring Kajol, Shahrukh Khan and Rani was a romantic venture where Rani had a small role in Kajol and Shahrukh's flash back life. But Rani put substance in her role and won everyone's heart. Her presence was felt through out the movie and she walked away with the Best Supporting Actress Filmfare award.
